ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Must be in good overall standing in school or at work with good grades, attitude, attendance, and behavior
  2. Must be in good mental and able physical condition to perform all aspects of shop work
  3. Must speak and write in English and be able to read, schedule, plan, and communicate ideas effectively
  4. Must pass a written safety test (after class instruction) prior to performing any shop work
  5. Must have a transportation plan or a driver’s license and a working vehicle to attend regularly

EXPECTATIONS:  

  1. Should plan to attend all regularly scheduled classes and meetings 
  2. Should plan on some extracurricular activities from time to time
  3. Should respect everyone and function as a positive part of the team
  4. Should obey all shop and class rules and follow proper procedures
  5. Should contact mentor(s) by phone or text prior to necessary class absence
